List of Natural disasters in El Salvador

El Salvador seems not to have learned about the risk management, this would reduce various hazards and improve the situation of people in society and above all save lives, here is the list of disasters in El Salvador put in chronological order from 1986 (In the Volcano Ilamatepec activity no fatalities reported):

1986 - Octuber´s earthquake caused 1,500 deaths.
1998 - Hurricane Mitch caused 240 deaths
2001 - Earthquake of 13 January and 13 February caused 1259 deaths Volcano Eruption
2005 - Ilamatepec that made 7,000 people were evacuated from the volcano
2005 - Hurricane Stan caused 70 deaths
2009 - Hurricane Ida caused 91 deaths
2010 - Storm Agatha caused 11 deaths
2011 - Tropical Storm E-12 caused 32 deaths.

Many of these disasters have not only caused deaths in El Salvador but also in other countries in the region such as Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and the Caribbean. If we combine the high vulnerability of human settlements in climate events and the permanent seismic activity, then the result is death
